What a chance to draw level with Higgins and Selby on four world crowns.
I'd love to see him do it, but snooker can't really lose. It's a huge story no matter who wins. The game could explode if Zhao wins.
As for Trump, a really fine player but not at the level of Williams, Selby, and Higgins - the only three who can live with O'Sullivan in the historical stakes. I'd say there is time yet for Trump, but I doubt it. If he was to win one more, he'd be doing very well indeed. Especially if this Chinese turns out to be as good as some think he will be...
I'd make a stab at a prediction for the final but, well, my record to date has been so bad that I've provided enough comedy. Let's just say I don't think it'll be close...and hope I can continue my record of being very wrong indeed.

Trump is a very talented player no doubt. But I'm not sure he was the killer instinct required to be a serial winner in the big events. 5 majors is good. But for all his talent should have more

Yup. I don't think anybody can deny his sheer talent. But the game is played as much in the head at this level. Even the absolute best - O'Sullivan, Higgins, Selby - have their meltdowns. But they have been ruthless at their best. Judd lacks that, as you say. And that's the difference.
So the semi's were contested by 3 left handers and the greatest ambidextrous player to ever show off (O'Sullivan).
