Ronnie out. Loses 17-7. Very very poor!
Once he decided yesterday to go changing his tip and ferrule on his queue mid match then the meltdown had began unfortunately.

I hope Zhao wins it now, but I wonder just how much of a test he has had up to now. Trump or Williams will give him the battle he has yet to have at this year's tournament.
I think, however, now is the time for a proper changing of the guard. The old boys are in mental decline. There is a vacancy at the top of the tree and Judd Trump still hasn't laid claim to the greatness multiple world titles emanate. If Trump beats Williams, I think this final is a real career-definer. If Zhao wins it, he might win a hatful. Hendry might finally have a genuine worry now that Higgins, Selby, and, increasingly, O'Sullivan seem to have missed the boat.

Took the first two to give a frisson of hope to the hopeless optimists/cynics who thought Zhao might crack - but Zhao is not Si. He looks primed to win it from here.

Yeah, but what seemed like an inevitable record eighth win seems to have slipped into unlikely territory now.
And nobody is fooled: Hendry hates the thought of being officially out-titled, while Ronnie would have loved it, despite protestations to the contrary.
We've got to look at the cost the titles have wrought on those that have one or more currently. Trump roundly decried for only having one world title so far.
Winning eight? In this era? Maybe if craig williams has a few quid down first like...
Zhao is a convicted cheat and match fixer. No one should hope he wins a thing. He should not be even playing
