There is a pattern with Zhang. He was 5-1 up against John Higgins and 4-0 up against Mark Selby and just about survived gutsy fightbacks. He led 7-2 in the English Open final against Judd Trump, but got reeled in. On this form, he won't survive the heat at the world championship over the longer course. Selby showed signs of his old self this week. His end of season will be interesting. Zhang's a very good player, but can he see out a final if he gets in front?
