Can't argue with most of that. I'd have Laxalt in for Strinic and Kane in for Dzyuba. Dalic as coach.

Some fine CBs on display, can’t argue with Varane/Godin but Maguire/Stones; Sanchez/Mina played well as partnerships.

The French RB, Pavard, looks a player and Trippier had a fine tournament. I like the Uruguayan lad that Arsenal just bought - Torreira.

Mbappe and Hazard quality make them stand outs.

Re Dalic as coach: you cant argue with a WC final placement, but I feel he let Croatia go off the boil in the round of 16 and QFs and they were lucky to stay in the tournament. Denmark and Russia could easily have seen them off. I'm not sure he made any great game changing decisions either.

..went out with my son for a pint and watch the game last night and we were chatting about Pavard. I like a bit of size in my defenders and he’s 6ft 1in, it really helps. He’s only been playing 2nd tier football at Stuttgart so Deschamps did well selecting him.
