Workrate up front

In fairness Toccy, he played 6 good games in two spells on loan and had a debateable attitude, I can see why we passed him up mate.

But youre right about the workrate thing. Paul Holmes was boss.

I disagree but it's all about opinions.

He had a poor workrate, his attitude was never a problem. He never caused any problems here, not once. He was a laid back kid who played at his own pace, he had genuine quality that alot of players in our squad lack yet he was ripped apart because he didn't run enough.

Typical Evertonians to be honest, alot of clueless ones flying about.

One thing that stood out to me was the lack of movement off the ball,a few times the player with the ball had few options another was the space the guy who scored the first goal had,it needs sorting these are basic thingsyou dont need to be a super star to cover or to move and much as I like Arteta hes jist not doing it at the minute:(

Spot on Observation -

There is more movement in the average NHS High Dependancy ward(n)(n)

This gives the player in possesion no options and forces them into hoof ball or get caught in possesion or playing nice little triangles or first touch in the centre circle like we did for most of the first half

Oh i dont disagree with you, his service is poor as well.

But he has the ability to make a chance for himself. He has the ability to come deep and play good balls off and make a chance for the team.

But against Liverpool and Liege tonight he has done nothing, even when he has had the ball.

But like i said, i would happily put up with that till he scores again, and thats usually in the next game.

Last 2 games he hasn't looked like he cared and has lost possesion too easily.

If he shows some effort and makes something for himself people wont mind so much even if he doesn't get the service.

But when there is nothing from him and midfield people will rightfully get pissed off. Thats why even though AJ is nowhere near as good and i wouldn't want him instead of Yakubu at least people appreciate his effort when his service is poor.

But yeah, the whole team needs to shape up against Newcastle.

I hate to say it but the RS gave us a lesson in forward play on Saturday. Swap Torres and Kuyt for Yakubu and Saha and we would have looked a lot more threatening, whatever the midfield supplied.

Ha ha its funny when people critise the Yak, when he scores hes cool under pressure and when he doesnt hes not intrested! Haha

I thought him and Saha where the victims of tactics last night, Leige defence played very deep and gave away little space, that said there two big lads and i was dissapointed that they didnt put up more of a physical fight!

It was criminal, that we didnt test their keeper more, he was seriously shakey, as we saw in the first game with Castillo goal and our last night.
