I WFH full time. You lose a bit, the banter and the face to face contact but you gain a lot too. Extra time in bed, no defrosting the car on cold winter mornings, you don't have to smell the colleagues with bad personal hygiene and you save a fortune (commuting costs, buying food out, calling at shops for bits on the way home etc.)
Teams meetings are much easier than face to face too, you don't even have to listen. At the end, someone makes a good point and I say "I'd just like to echo Andy's sentiments there" and add a bit of waffle on and they think I've been paying attention the whole time.
I think a good routine is important too, get up and have a shower, stretch my legs and get a bit of fresh air if the weather permits before work, out again for a walk or sit in the garden at dinner and get out most weekends to see friends or family and not be a hermit. Wfh isn't for everyone but if it works for you it's the ultimate in work-life balance imo.
