Veered away from my usual safe route at the point I saw there were so many different options, when I would normally start to go for words which use up all the possible remaining letters I just started guessing the answer. Ironically the correct word was the first one that popped into my head at the last go

Always dangerous going for the quick win. My near misses were all similar to what you're saying.

Not sure that hard mode is actually harder TBH. Just stops you from 'eliminatimg' letters and makes you try to work it out. much more fun IMO but can be infuriating when there are multiple choices

I'll give it a go if I reach 100 or before, if I don't. I'm actually enjoying Hurdle more because I'm slipping up regularly.
