TBH I would rather we played last amongst the Drop Contenders but small matter. Our energy has to be so much greater than theirs in this game. they have a pretty solid defence but hopefully we can lull them into the push it out wide trap. It worked for 30 mins against City and 45 against Brighton. DCL has to sart even if there is only 45 mins in him. Please no more Maupay. Hopefully Mykolenko is back too from his mystery illness(hangover).

Like your team . And like your predicted scoreline .What would we not give for that win. But I’m all for playing our match first. Get the points , and put pressure on the teams round us . Pressure has to be building , with Leeds , Leicester and Forest. Get the points , and stay out of the bottom three.
We drop down to the bottom 3 again , and I think that is it. So it’s play first , win , and keep our heads above the drop zone.

Ok. Enough nonsense . But what we do need is for our sorry bunch to play like those guys would play. Fight. Pick up the necessary points to survive. Put a little right , into the wrong , that is this season. Make amends. Get this club to safety.

Our board is useless. They have to go. That , I think , will happen , soon.

Dyche has made mistakes , but he’s been put into an awful position . He now has to get things right . No more stupid team selections.

But it’s our players that have put us in this position. Those missed chances . Those matches when we just didn’t turn up . Those matches when our midfield was over run. When they couldn’t string 2 passes together.
And let’s not forget , those awful mistakes , from certain defenders . The list is endless , we have , this season , been awful.
The only guy that I’ve included , in my example of a proper Everton team , is Pickford . He would imo be great , if he has that calibre of player around him.
And McNeil is getting there.

Anyhow , two matches to stay in the premier league. Let’s hope that our players can get , the spirit of Labone . Wilson , Ball and Dean from somewhere.
Just get us over the line. Up the Toffees.
Ps….would be unforgivable if we don’t turn up . If we don’t fight . If we just fade away with a whimper.

Another performance similar to Brighton would be most welcome , however , Wolves are a more compact outfit and could well be difficult to replicate . The old saying “ horses for courses” so I’d go with an extra centre back even if that option has to be Keane . Get Patterson and Myko flying down the flanks , pushing Wolves back . I don’t predict many goals so if DCL is fit I’ll go 0-1 , if absent it’s a 0-0 for me .

Mykolenko out, and an interesting mention from Dyche of possibly changing shape rather than personnel. Suggests he may look to more of a 352 for Saturday. Possibly better than square pegs in round holes like we saw last Sunday.

I'd rather have Holgate as a third CB than Keane. Holgate isn't great but he looks much worse when you play him out of position. We don't want three absolute snails back there. But I do think 3 is probably the way to go given the options.
