I think if we approach the match with the proper intensity and even though the squad is lacking I think if the right individuals are on the pitch we have enough quality to win this. They have definitely improved since they hired the Seville manager but they are still a beatable team

Don't understand this nothing to play for jarg, not having a go mate, but professional pride you're fans ? Plus the fact you could send one of the big, well former big teams down, they would love it and so would their fans, human nature.
Well less motivation then....please don't stop me grasping at every straw

I felt Everton found themselves lacking their usual companions, the pigeons, during their match against Manchester City yesterday. The absence of these feathered friends seemed to have an impact on the team's performance, as they struggled to find their rhythm and assert their presence on the pitch. The once-familiar sight of pigeons gracefully soaring above Goodison Park was sorely missed, leaving a void that was felt by both players and fans alike.

For years, Everton has enjoyed a unique relationship with these birds, who have become a symbol of the club's spirit and resilience. Their presence during matches has been known to bring a sense of tranquility and good fortune, instilling a sense of confidence in the team. The flutter of wings and the cooing melodies created an atmosphere that was almost magical, inspiring both players and spectators.

As Everton prepares to face Wolves on Saturday, it becomes imperative to find the pigeons once again. Their return could prove to be a catalyst for the team, injecting the much-needed energy and belief into their performance. The pigeons have served as loyal companions, accompanying Everton through victories and setbacks, and their absence has been keenly felt.

The search for the pigeons should commence immediately, employing all possible means to bring them back to their rightful place above Goodison Park. The club and its supporters must rally together, sharing information, anecdotes, and even offering rewards to encourage the pigeons' return. It may require careful observation, identifying their preferred perches and feeding spots, or even enlisting the help of experts in avian behaviour to entice them back.

ray of light is them losing to Leeds, we're better than leeds, right?
I don't think it's an exaggeration to describe this match as one of the biggest for the club - we've had a few of them since last season - sadly, for all the wrong reasons thanks to the clowns who are the current custodians of our club.

It might look a kinder fixture compared to our relegation rivals in that Wolves are 13th with sod all to play for, but they're very good at home - particularly since the new year. This is their home record in 2023;

Wolves 1-0 Aston Villa
