Embarrassing.

All the talk of trying to win a trophy only to put out a very weakened side with such a timid attitude.

That's two games running we've started with a timid attitude, three games without a win and early season optimism has dwindled.

We are so one paced.

I don't believe we'll be in a relegation battle or look to replace the manager but I'm very disappointed in him. He plays not to lose rather than win.
You mean SLOW Paced

Not long got home from the match. Worst performance since the Leeds game.

Hoped he wouldn’t make too many changes and feared the worst when I saw the lineup. They were like a bunch of ringers thrown together ten minutes before kick off; poor touches, misplaced passes, no cohesion. The changes made little difference and we never really looked capable of winning.

Don’t want to single out individual players but there are more than a few who are fine to ‘slot in’ if required, but should never be playing together en masse unless half the first team are dead or dying.

Annoyed with Moyes for not taking the game seriously. It’s hard enough to win a trophy without sabotaging your chance in the second fixture. Only the FA Cup to keep us dreaming, before the clocks have even gone back.

This is more disappointing than the derby.
Other than maybe Jimmy Garner, not sure anyone really looked up for the game. Even on both sides. The stadium looked quite empty, the atmosphere seemed flat, looked like 2 reserve sides playing a pre-season training game that no one particularly wanted to be doing late on a Tuesday night. Total lack of interest all round when we should have gone as strong as possible.

Massive wasted opportunity tonight all down to team selection.

Read a few in the last week or two saying RB is still a big problem for us .
Yet again just like the Derby both goals come from the Left back area.
So the manager picks Coleman to solve that problem 🤔

Wolves didn't beat us tonight , we beat ourselves with the team selection.
Pointless tournament anyway.

It’s because it’s a pointless competition.
