I think in Argentina you can actually cause physical damage to an opponent and not get sent off.

Defenders must delight in tackling him knowing he will spend the next few minutes pretending he is injured. If someone at Everton could drive the child out of him and bring in the man he might be a far better player.

Nah, he's 25. He's good, not great, don't see him being able to replace Gana. There's lots of info on him in the Gana and transfer thread.

If the Barrios in and Gana out links are true then Silva has much bigger stones than I thought.

Seems a very risky one to me. I suppose it might make good business sense to sell a 29 year old(?) and replace him with a much younger guy and make a profit but given our run of form, it's a very brave decision to take if true.

From the limited clips I've seen, Barrios is not an upgrade on Gana. Hopefully he proves me wrong.
