I can confirm that I won't be supporting England at the world cup. Unless Coady and Tarks play in which case I want them to do well else the blame will all be pinned on them - just like Baines and Jags in 2014.

And better add the condition except when they play Wales too.

I have no idea who I will be supporting. Probably whoever looks like they can win. I follow enough losing sports teams so I need to back a winner for once

I sometimes start to want England to win when some of our players are playing for them. If Tarkowski or Coady are there alongside JP, then I'd like them to do well.

“Support” sounds a too dedicated to me. I’ll watch England and hope they do ok but ultimately will give zero fecks when they get beat.

Last time I got mad at England was when Gerrard screwed up against France in the euros back in 2004 or whenever it was.

You have a very good point and I think many will agree with you, but ,like others, I might find it difficult not to watch it.

England's first game is at 1pm. Some games (like one of Argentina's) is 10.00am.

I’m from Liverpool guys so won’t be supporting England as I care more for my city and people than I do the cruel imperialistic state that has contempt for my people but I truly believe each to their own and hope everyone can respect that on here during this festival of football guys.

I hope there are mass human rights / LGBT protests, the whole thing falls flat on it`s arse and it puts the spotlight on the murderous regime, that`s hosting it.
