Will we now finish above Liverpool to end the season on somewhat of a high?

New Stadium. Open to a move ? If so, ground share ?

....for those of us who work and drink with that lot, it does mean a lot to finish above them even if we don't shout it from the roof. I can see what they will say if the finish above us....'Moyes says its his best ever squad and you still can't finish ahead of us'. They are still a useful benchmark and anytime we finish above them it signals a reasonable season.

I disagree to a certain extent. We were always bothered about finishing above them, but that was when they were around the top 4 and finishing above them would have pretty much guaranteed CL football. It's interesting to listen to reds who are now bothered about finishing above us. It's nice the tables have turned and our season isn't just about being above them. I know we might end up with no european football anyway, but like the idea we have moved on from pinning our season on beating the RS

Why do people keep saying this?
Nobody is pinning the season on finishing above them! We would like to finish above our local rivals, what on Earth is wrong with that?
Some people need to get a pulse (not you in particular ROMAN)
