Will one summer be enough?

We are only a half decent manager away from being competitive.

Bin Fat Sam, get Silva in and begin the process immediately on who will lead us in to Bramley Moore.

Be it Tuchel, Simone, or whatever...
Agree. May as well get Silva in now but the squad that has been expensively assembled is nowhere near to being half competitive unfortunately.

I think we need to clear out much more than just the fat one though. A lot of our players are past it and/or spineless. Huge amount of business needs doing.

City finished 9th, 10th and then 5th in the first 3 seasons they had money, and it’s probably even tougher to break into the elite now.

It’ll take time but we can certainly put ourselves on the right path with a good summer.

...we can have 10 summers. It will be a complete waste of time and money unless we get the right people in.

This!

It’s been hopeless for the last few. I didn’t like Koeman but at least he was an attractive name.

Cannot see many players wanting to come and join Big Sams hoofball school of art.

Also cannot see many talented young players seeing us as a good development opportunity given how we’ve treated Sandro, Klaassen, Lookman etc.

It will be very unlikely that we will get back what we paid for the players we bought. Freezing them out doesn’t exactly keep their value high.

Keep Pickford, Joel, Coleman, Kenny, Holgate, Gueye, Davies, Rooney, Walcott, Lookman, Vlasic, DCL and Tosun. I'd bin the rest, surely we could get about 60-70m or so for the lot, easily enough to build a side that can challenge for the UEL and consistently be up there with the top 6 if we get a good DoF in place.

I am unsure we have anyone with the vision around the club to get the next appointment right . The football decisions seem clouded and almost panicking at every decision whether it be appointing a manager to player recruitment . Moshiri seems clueless at the football side of things and is surrounded by people who have failed time and time again .we probably say it every summer but there have to be huge decisions made and I am not sure we are capable of making them .
