I think the biggest problem is balancing size of squad. i read somewhere i think an article in the independant saying we had the second smallest squad in the prem ever this last year(please dont quote me on that !!!!!!) and hitz, pip, and jan(sob,sob) have left since. so obviously to me we need three squad fillers and two first teamers (playmaker and striker) but unfortunately on a budget. Also i think Fellaini and Baines might stay due to world cup year and staying first teamers so i dont expect any Felli money, probs heitinga though and maybe big vic(not RM style)

We had one of the smallest squads in the premier league LAST season, since then we have lost 3 more players. We needed more players before we lost those 3, and one of those covered about 4 positions for us too. I'd love for us to go out and get a top player, but i think we need to adress the depth of the squad more importantly.

Yeah but look at the 3 lost....

Mucha - A back up GK can be found on a free so easily replaceable.

Hitz - Was mainly brought in to allow Barkley loan time away who I see as an important player in the squad next season. So IMO already been replaced.

Neville - His RB duties are already covered with Coleman, Hibbert and stones. CM a little short so a CM needs bringing in.

I see the point if no one leaves, would be hard to spend 15M on a striker and no one else. But I see players leaving so really shouldn't be the case. The likes of Heitinga Naismith Fellaini and even jelavic could all move on. If that's the case we could still break our transfer record and bring in 4/5 players.

Think it's gonna be an intresting summer.
