However, those who came to Goodison towards the end of the season MUST have been impressed at how mental our fans were.

Mad tbh. I don't see how his value has gone up 500% when he was a mainstay of their team that got relegated. But it is what it is, relegated clubs don't need to hold firesales any more due to the parachute payments. That's why Southampton got £40m for Livramento, and Leicester got £40 for each of Barnes and Maddison. £20m for Gnonto seems about right when you compare it, but I feel we may get him for slightly less with unrealistic add-ons included as part of the deal.
