Yes...those 20 millions will quickly become 50 or 70 millions...get him for one season and Leeds gets all the money. Whilst we offer the player and his club a platform, we will be getting very small return on the pitch from a player not really interested of a long term project with us.

Yeah and if we go down because we don't want to 'develop a player for another club' that won't cost us more money, 50 mill is small money compared to the cost of relegation.

Don't get me wrong, I would prefer to get him on a permanent transfer, but, if Leeds will only loan him then, so be it.
