Transfer Rumour Wilifred Gnonto

‘Wilfred’ is like a name right out of the early 1900s. Seems a bit dated for a 21st century Premier League footballer. We should pursue players with more modern names.

On the contrary I’d like us to sign as many players who sound like rogues in black and white movies as possible.
We already missed out on having Bony and Zaha on peak, but this time, where there’s a Wilf there’s a way.

Are you telling me you’d happily accept the singing of someone called Percy Pitkin or Gladstone Forsyth?

I personally think we’d be even more of a laughing stock if those circumstances came to pass.

Hell yes 😀.
Although I'd rather we went all in and went for a name like
Fosdyke Guttersnipe.

Obviously, if we are going to sign someone called Willy, we should pay whatever it takes to sign that Eckerslike lad that Victoria Wood rated so highly.

I have friends at Leeds Utd mate.

Gnonto definitely meeting Leeds staff this evening.
I do wonder if it's official disciplinary process.

Hopefully it is and he reiterates his desire to move to us.
