If we can get him on reasonable wages then I’d be all for it but it seems he is going to the highest bidder and I hope we are not still throwing silly money at players to convince them to come like Gomes, Holgate etc where we end up stuck with them for years.

We need to offer a competitive wage without drifting into excess simply because he is free
