Just been arguing with my plum of a neighbour about the sparrowhawk that was just seen devouring a pigeon.
I wondered at first if it was a Peregrine but they insisted it was far too big, so it must have been a Sparrowhawk. I tried to say that Peregrines are actually bigger than Sparrow hawks but he wasn't having it.
It was a Sparrowhawk (the wings were too short to be a PF), but it moved on from that into which is bigger. So I came on here to make myself feel better (or worse if I'm actually wrong).
Which is bigger, a Sparrowhawk or a Peregrine falcon?
