Well with only a little over a fortnight (and only one other friendly) before we kick off the season I would hope we put out the strongest team available -- and play in the formation we're going to be using. No time for meaningless substitutions either, just to give everyone a go. And no places for anyone with no chance of being in the squad for the first few games.

It will be the squad that played the two Swiss games, shouldn’t imagine we’ll see DCL and Mina till Saturday in one of the two games in Germany and then have Richy back for Bremen next weekend

Plenty at and around the station. There's one at the ground called Robin Park. I'd avoid this because it gets very full and is a eating place, like a Harvester type and can attract a lot of families having tea. Drink at the pubs around the station and walk up.
There are bars and a large concourse at the ground which is just as good as a pub

Any suggestions for parking? We parked in the Asda car park last time we drove there (Was still the JJB at that point) but not sure if they've implemented the limited parking time on matchdays which seems to be the case in most places these days.

I was reading up on it and I think they have

There's a multistorey in Wigan itself (Haig Street I believe) which is around £3 I think and not too bad of a walk (Between 20-30 minutes)

The ground supposedly has 2000 spaces as well, with £4 being the cost to park

If anyone knows any cheaper suggestions though I'd be happy to hear them

The Anvil, just by the bus station. Great pub with real ale and reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. I've been meeting a mate of mine there once a week for over 15 years for a few jars.
