Why Leicester and not Everton?

Leicester overload and press high up with lots of energy , we don't have those types of players , especially in midfield.

How? Koeman spent £100m on Sigurdsson, Schneiderlin and Yannick Bolasie.

1) Rodgers hasn't been there that long, but he has made a difference.
2) The key must be the owners.
3) The staff that they've recruited
4) The policies they've put in place.
5) They've bought players in for bargin prices and sold them for big money
6) Reinvested it well
7) They're Jammy
8) We're not

Basically they're the anti Everton, they ask what would Everton do, then do the opposite.

Over exaggerated a bit there.

Pound for pound Koeman and Walsh's business was some of the worst in premiership history.

Again, Leicester finished beneath us last season with the same squad and beneath us under Big Sam. The only difference? The manager.
 
Because we sell our best players & don’t replace them, or replace them with different types of players.

We sold Lukaku what, 15 or so years ago & still haven’t replaced him. We’ve signed forwards, he was a goal scoring striker.

We sold Gana who was our best player, meffs on here saying we needed to look for better when was about nobody better in the league than him at DM. Gbamin may be a replacement & may turn into a similar player, but we needed a ready made enforcer.

We also chased stupid players for stupid money, not replacing a striker but bringing in 3 or 4 number 10’s who have already come & gone except one who is now the fans consensus choice of not being picked. Stubborn as anything for Siggy, paid double what he was worth when we could have spent that money more wisely on 2-3 players. Bolasie, Schneiderlin, Niasse, Tosun all disasters we overpaid for as well, I’m sure to be missing names as well

We also held out for Zouma, it seemed it would go through but had to be last minute. But then, it doesn’t go through...Zouma’s comments afterwards made it pretty clear he was unlikely to join well before the deadline yet we did nothing about it.

But the biggest annoyance for me is some of the talent our last few managers have alienated, shut out of consideration but would instantly improve our team by being a point of difference. Deulofeu, Lookman, Vlasic & Barkley all criticised and out of favour but yet to see any criticism of Siggy or Walcott for not pulling their weight or earning their much larger pay checks.

Not really, we've had a huge transition the last two years. Not only in terms of players but also playing style, plus we had a large number of players playing their first season at this level. Many of them young who were learning the ropes which leads to inconsistency.

The manager change has made a difference clearly, I don't think Puel was getting enough out of the players. But Rodgers has benefited massively from the plan put in place two summers ago. Most of us last season were saying that someone could benefit massively from the work Puel was doing, and so it seems to be the case.

There is no change Rodgers takes over a squad still relying on good (in a certain style of play), but limited and ageing players like Okazaki, Simpson, Fuchs, Morgan and implements what he's done now, as quickly as he has.
 
It helps that they pulled off the most miraculous title win of recent times, too.

There's an ingrained confidence within that fanbase and still within the key players of that squad (Vardy, Schmeichel etc) have that ingrained arrogance and know-how.
 

Remember when our fans laughed their heads off when we were linked with Jonny Evans?

Well, who's laughing now?
 
Hiring a manager with < 31% win record on the back of a sacking because of a long run of defeats isn't a bright move if your are looking to improve in the Premier League.Letting better replacements get appointments at other clubs while you keep your fingers crossed also isn't the best policy.Leicester City as we stand are far more consistent and have done a better job of getting in replacements for key players and management that they have parted ways with.
