Fulham have vowed to take the "strongest possible action" after striker Aboubakar Kamara was racially abused on social media following their 1-0 win over Huddersfield Saturday.

Just after Goncalves and Raheem Sterling were racially abused, now Kamara has been too. Is this a societal problem? Has Brexit given a springboard for racists to be louder?

Bit knee jerk this. I don’t think racism exists in the game in any meaningful way. Of course, there are still racist people within our society, although i’d argue genuine racists have been on the wane for many years. There are lots of stupid people who use race to offend. People often confuse the two.

Some of these stupid people like Football and attend games. Using them as an outlet for their rage and not realising (as stupid people do) the impact of their actions and the consequences of their words.
