Mid table squad last two seasons then only very slight improvement with no real nett spend this summer.
Mid table squad beaten by an inform title winning squad.
Can only work with what you have, it's whoever handles transfers faults or is it due to lack of money, January will be interesting.

No way were we to blame - Chelsea were superb and massively confident in their play.

If we'd played well we'd have defended a bit better and lost 3-0 - or maybe offered more up front and lost 4-1.
If we'd been worse we'd have lost 7 or 8 nil.

We didn't contribute positively in the game - some of that's our own doing
But we had no answers - and at 16-0 over their last 5 games neither has anyone else.

This to an extent. They could do that to anybody at the moment.

But, we just bent over and took it.

I think Koeman and the players have to share the blame, they will know between them if it ultimately came down to the fact that the players didn't play how they were instructed to play or if the tactics just didn't allow for how Chelsea were going to to play.

With certain key individuals like Steklenburg I just wonder if he should have even played yesterday, after missing the previous week with injury, I wonder if he was still injured, but was rushed back for the game.

But wether he is the right or wrong man the owner gave the job to Koeman.
So you are saying if our form slumps he should sack him then?
On A 8 million a year contract?
John Moore might if can,t see BK and Moshri doing it?
We have to trust RK not just to fetch in players in January, but farm out a percentage of costly deadwood!
