Who's the best? Us or them.

Think both us and them are better than league places show. funny thing about them is that they are carrying their 80s arrogance through generations and it will hold them back for a long time yet. they haven't dominated since the back pass law changed but are still convinced they have some magic right to rise up. they have three or four players who can look great on their day, but so do we. wouldn't swap anyone along the back, but Johnson looks decent. the big advantage we have overall is that most of our players look like they love being at the club. that could lead to more tension in the derby though and we usually have to be a much better side to win there. right now would bite something off for a draw

We're nailed on to lose lads, we always lose there. Even though they have arguably their weakest side in recent memory, we have one of our best, and we've actually drawn more than we've lost there.

Nailed on to lose.

This.

I don't care what kind of form they're in or what kind of form we're in. The fact is that Liverpool FC is our bogey team and one that we will lose to again this weekend.

Just the facts.

Were going to give the red shyte a right proper spanking at Klanfield so we are.:)

...I started this thread a week before the Derby and gave it some thought following yesterdays game. I know we are only 5 points ahead and there are still 6 to play for, but regardless I think we are better than them.
If we had Suarez its fair to say that we would in the top 4 mix. They have got him and are likely to finish 7th. We are closer to making it to the next level but unfortunately they have the cash and could get there quicker. Saying that, if Brenda continues to spend his pennie's on the likes of Joe Allen and Borini they could be looking up our backsides for a few years yet.

We're definitely better than them, mate.

Neither side have won a derby but we're 5 points clear.

not just a better side but acted with class off and on the pitch, if you think of the heart of the clubs then look at the way Jags composed himself compared to Gerrard and Carragher...and without them refereeing yesterday we did win

Of course were better than Liverpool. We've been in front of them all season and we made a decent effort to get into the champions league despite not having a 20 goals a season striker. We better beat West Ham the next day and close the door on those red shyte fcukers!:) We should have done that yesterday at Klanfield but Moyes played for the draw as usual.
