A director of football who controls all of the football structure at the club including hiring and firing managers, control over the academy and owning the recruitment process

A halfway house simply doesn't work. Jump in with both feet.

There are managers out there (most of these ones are not working right now, some would be harder to get, some may even be crap) but there ARE options.
