Who's first in the clearout ?

Agree but that is why. Players of his caliber are not players who will get us there. If we want to get into top 6 dcl will not be part of the side. Thats the reality. Cold hard reality.

Currently maybe not.

Could he improve because he is still young etc? Of course he could.

He is doing fine right now. Not brilliantly, but fine. How are these type of players supposed to grow if they don't get game time and you jib them off straight away?

Only two games ago he committed a stupid foul in our penalty area to gift West Ham an opportunity to get back in to the game, if they'd taken it I'm not so sure we'd have won the match.

To say he's looked solid is an overstatement.

He's not looked solid to me he's just played against nothing attackers. Bumming on Sunday.

On the assumption we're playing 451 or 433 we're defo over staffed in centre mid. Think Allardyce as with most managers wants one of his own players in centre mid to set the tone, hence the nzonzi link.

So Schneiderlin is getting jibbed.

Besic has been overtaken by Benni so he's toast.

Reckon klassen could go out on loan. Not saying all this window but in our set up you only need about 7 players for centre mid (injuries/rotation) We've about 10/11.

Think if a good offer comes in jagielka could go too.

Finally mirallas better be gone.

Reckon summer target, main one, could be a right sided attacker.

Essentially pending returns to fitness the team going forward is:

Pickford
Coleman
New Centre half
Keane
New left back
New dcm
Gana/davies
Rooney/sigurdsson
New rw
Bolasie
New Centre forward

I am expecting John Ebbrell and Duncan to be asked to leave, although there is an outside chance that Sam will maybe see what Duncan has to offer in coaching the strikers for heading etc ? Maybe give him an opportunity to prove himself.

I expect Unsworth to be given the opportunity to go back to the U23's and diffiuclt for him I'm sure he will, not like he will have any offers anywhere else to be honest.
John Ebbrell is Unsworth's assistant with the U23s, and will resume that role I expect until the end of the season. I then expect Unsworth to leave Everton in the summer to resume his development in football management at L1 or L2 level. Unsworth had a very good record at youth level and I expect there to be no shortage of offers for his services should he become available. Totally disagree with you in that regard. He may decide to take Ebbrell with him to his new club, but I'd like Ebbrell to be given an opportunity as U23s manager, in the same way Unsworth was when Stubbs left. I quite like the idea of continuity it brings.

Would like to see all of the snakes who stopped playing for our last THREE managers first out of the door, they/we know who they are.

Jagielka and Mirallas will, both go off to West Ham to rejoin Moyes. Rooney will be given the captaincy then.

Schneiderlin will be sold to someone like West Brom or Stoke if we sign Nzonzi

Jags, Williams.

Out on loan - DCL, beningan, holgate, Jon Jo, - these guys are not good enough (yet) for us if we want to be an above average prem team.
I would agree that a 12 month loan for Beni would be beneficial. DCL possibly depending upon how many new strikers we bring in. If we only bring in 1 then DCL should stay as back up and continue his development here.

Holgate/Jon Jo. Are you serious? How many CBs are you looking to bring in and what is the quality going to be? We'll be lucky to get one decent CB in. With Williams and Jags gone, which I fully agree with by the way, we'll have Keane, the new CB and a returning Funes Mori. Holgate would be needed as a squad player. And who would you have as back up to Coleman?. Would you bring in another experience RB?. Martina worked well didn't it?

I would agree with you that players like DCL, Holgate and Kenny are still developing and are not quite ready to be first name starters for a team with aspirations on top 6. But they have proved they are more than good enough to be squad members, and can continue their development working with premier class players rather than at a lesser standard. One could also argue the same about Beni given that in the few opportunities he had he proved to be our best CM. In fact I think he may have won 2 MOMs.
