Who would you like to see us bring in during January

NOOOOOOOOOO.

Ryan Babel is biggest recent flop in the PL after Shevchenko and Van der meyde

Not really. He's at a club under a manager who can't nurture young talent.

Babel is still a quality player.

I'd have nugent. Always said he's a solid striker than anything special. He'll be floating around the prem for years I think. Probably end up pike a kevin Davis.

Kabul is a good shout though.

Were only getting loans though

i have a feeling someday nugent will have his dream to play for us fulfilled. Hope it's not like good old nash at 36

Portsmouth have a fair bit of talent in there squad i'd like to see Belhadj here. Very quick, eye for goal can play left back or left midfield good cover.

I'd even take Tal Ben Haim, very compossed on the ball, keeps the ball on the ground and could influance players around him, also plays left centre back. Previously earnt a transfer to Chelsea could be a bargain.

Kevin Prince Boateng is there from Spurs on loan, think it's only till Jan, Portsmouth probably won't be allowed to re-sign him. Has played off the striker and further back in the middle. Has looked good to me touch, vision and pace. Thought he was tempremental at Spurs but havn't heard of it at Pompey.

Others i'd like to see in Jan: Gibbson (United), Wiltshire/Ramsey (Arsenal), Di Santo (Chelsea but might have extended loan at Blackburn) all on loan. If we did have any cash: Keane (Spurs) and Petrov (city).

Think Senderos on laon with an option to buy will be our big bit of buisness. Would be a canny enough deal.

Was gonna say that as it makes sense....

But dont we have enough centre halves? Maybe not but Senderos is not playing games and a few months away would be good.

I dont think so mate, its the one priority position we need covering our goals against record has been poor this season - the worst for seasons and teams look dangerous against us - altoough defending is a team thing. To many times this season we have had full backs playing central defence and with Yobo away and no real partnership catching the eye we need a centre half. Senderos will have the motivation of playing in the world cup. While we could get him for next to nothing in the sumer, Wenger wont keep an unhappy player.

Think of all our drawn games - that coul dhave been wins with a clean sheet, thats the big difference between last year and this.

Not exactly what we need but I do like the look of this lad

What about Scott McDonald, I heard he'll be leaving Celtic some time soon, and some clubs are ready to come in for him, I remember him at Fir Park, from his Motherwell days, and although playing against Scottish premier league defences is like beating a baby over the head with a 2 x 4 (too easy as there is no defence), he is a proven goalscorer, and I would jump at the chance to see him play, and for Moyes to give him a chance, he and Cahill would get on well together, but McDonald has yet to score at full international level.

He'll surely be involved for Australia at next years world cup. We could do a lot worse than sniff in his general direction.

Figueroa from Wigan would be a decent player - but I heard they are asking for silly money (£8 million or something), so Sunderland it is then.

My mate is convinced we'll sign Jason Scotland too. He's blatantly just winding me up, but it's still giving me the squits thinking about it.....

And the third and final wool is Scharner, who we get linked with every 5 minutes. Wouldn't suprise me if we do eventually sign the austrian with the silly hair though.
