Unfortunately I think United will get it this season, would be hilarious if they failed to given the amount of money they spent. Can't see Liverpool making it into the top four this season.

how people can say we have no chance of 4th because of a small squad i will never know! we have about 6/7 first teamers unavilable and our bench is still better than that.

They have loads of injuries? Easily Put Jones, Smalling, Evans, Carrick, Herrera, Rooney in there i looks a lot better.

i think di maria will single handedly get united there. they were band average again today and possibly a tad fortunate to get all 3 points, they're labouring to wins at home to west ham and half of everton's seconds team - but yet they could still finish 3rd.

Dont get when people say this. Who cares how you win when you have loads of injuries + new team gelling. Plus should of been out of sight vs us.

We have averaged 6th over the last 9 seasons with (72) Europa league games in 8 of those 9 seasons.
Basically behind City, CFC, Woolwich, Utd & RS.
We wont get 4th this season i agree, but flash in the pan? Nah.

I agree Spurs aren't flash in the pans but I wouldn't expect any less considering they spend about 100m a year on players.

True. But that is only because we sell our best players for big money. Which is why we are bottom of the net spend table.
Id rather keep those players myself.

Thing is Levy has ideas above his station, we have the 6th highest turnover & 6th highest gross spend (spend most on players before sales) & we usually finish..............6th.

I'm sure he wants to do that.

But you need to hire the right guy. Levy's problem isn't that he keeps firing managers, it's that he can't pick them in the 1st place.

However unfortunately for us I think he has picked a good one this time. The only thing that remains to be seen is will the overpaid entitled Spurs players be willing to keep up the training etc to play that way especially if they go through a dodgy bit of form. They might still get him fired.
