Who the heck are we going to pick as centre halves on sunday?

Maybe. But surely can his crapness is better than the utter crap thats been playing for us. Because by saying he is worse ,you are admitting that our current stock of center halves are doing something right ;)
He’s way down the pecking order right now though, and realistically he’s not big enough to be a CB.

Look at the defenders he’s got to work with though. If our game plan involves keeping a clean sheet then what hope do we have?

Even the worst teams can organise a defence if the manager knows what he's doing. It takes a whole team approach but it can be done.

I reckon Unsworth has came in with noble intentions. Give the fans what they want by getting at the opposition but it's just not going to work.

You’re right, but it’s hard to imagine us ever being solid at the back with our current defenders.

It is but someone's gonna have to do something quickly. Or at least try to. For this to turn around I can't see it being anything other than backs to the wall performances.

I'd play 3 at the back Kennny Keane Jagielka. Kenny has played centre back before so it's not new. At least he's got some pace. Then I would play Martina Besic Gueye Baines as a 4 in midfield yet and make us difficult to breakdown then Rooney and Sigurdsson behind Calvert-Lewin.

Eleven hour flight to Singapore, five hours in transit, thirteen hour flight to London, train to Southampton, I'll be there Saturday arvo. Steak and chips for dinner Saturday night, a couple of pints, a ten-hour sleep, you watch lads, I'll make Shane Long look like the pub footballer he is.

They're all gash atm so doesn't really matter, i'd just like to see them actually played on the correct side of the pitch.

Keane was horrendous tonight and nothing excuses that, would be one of the worst performances i've seen if it wasn't for Williams 1 upping him all the time but having the lad play on the left makes 0 sense, particularly alongside Williams who spent his whole Swansea career playing on the left.

Keane - Gash
Williams - Turbo Gash
Jags - Old and Gash
Holgate - Inexperienced and error prone
Besic - Passionate but temperamental and could be gash
Feeney - Young
Foulds - Young

Id personally just go 3 back, said it a while ago Jags and Williams can't be trusted in any form of 2 anymore so if 1 of them play there needs to be 2 others supporting.

Keane - Besic - Holgate

Embrace the ball playing maverick middle CB and pray the rest works out, can't get any worse than currently.

Lennon at left wing back would be good to see I think. He's defensively been good, offers for the ball going forward and has a pace/directness that baines has completely lost. I'd like to see us go:

Pickford
Kenny holgate Keane Lennon
Gana beningime
Mirallas sigurdsson vlasic
Dcl

With Williams confined to the stands. Bit of directness down the flanks get balls into the box and do the frigging basics.

This I could get behind.
