Who should play against Hull ?

Physio room has Howard, Stones, Jags, Hibbert, Osman, McCarthy, Gibson all out for Hull.

Assuming that is true would keep the same partnership of Alcaraz/Distin so Robles has a chance of building up some rapport with his defenders despite not wanting Distin to play that many games in such a short period of time.

Robles
Coleman Alcaraz Distin Baines
Barkley Besic
Mirallas Naismith Pienaar
Lukaku

Assuming nobody breaks down midgame subs of Kone for Lukaku and McGeady & Oviedo for the wingers. Was impressed by Kone today but doubt he'd be able to handle two starts after such a long layoff.

Mate I would instantly write off the game if that's the eleven.

If Stones and McCarthy are both not fit then we won't win. We simply need them to be fit.

Pienaar doesn't offer enough any more on the wing for me so I'd rather play McGeady again despite his shocking game today. He's the kind of player who will have those games, but he can still create something out of nothing. Pienaar will just win us a few free kicks that will lead to absolutely nothing anyway.

Robles

Baines Stones (PLZ) Alcaraz Coleman

McCarthy Besic

NO IDEA - Barkley - Mirallas

Kone/Lukaku

If McCarthy is out push Barkley back and get Naismith in on the CAM

Tempted to put McGeady there to show faith.

Oh who cares we're going to lose

It really isn't a matter of who should play ... it's who should play where.

Players won't lose Martinez his job, the tactics will. The saying Live by the Sword, Die by the sword has never been more apt for him now. He has to change the system and stick to it.

Coleman, Baines, Stones, Garbutt, McCarthy, Besic, Barkley, Naismith, Mirallas, Lukaku & now Kone. We can 100% find a way out of this rut. Just need to find the system.

I'd prefer both Stones and McCarthy to play but if they are not 100% would you play them and gamble on their injures getting worse and being out for longer? We'll really need them vs West Ham and Man City.

Would prefer McGeady as a sub (provided Mirallas is fit enough to start) on basis that Piennar might link up well with Baines and he had a good game against Hull last season - that theory didn't help Barkley against Newcastle though :(

-------------Pantillimon---------------

Coleman--Shawcross--Stones---Baines

Mirallas---Barkley------Besic------Delefeyew

-----------Lukaku------Bony-----------

Can't believe people are still saying Robles. I'd rather put in Griffith and at least get him some game time.

Starting XI (Based On Today's Squad)
Keeper (Besides Robles)
Coleman-Browning-Distin-Baines/Garbutt
Mirallas-McCarthy-Besic-Oviedo/Baines/Garbutt
Naismith/Kone/Eto'o
Lukaku/Kone

Assuming injuries:

Robles
Coleman Alcaraz Distin Garbutt
Besic Baines
Mirallas Barkley Kone
Lukaku
Think the Baines CM thing showed a lot of promise. Kone also deserves to keep his place and looks comfortable when wide.
