If he carries on progressing like he has done in the last few weeks and shows he is maturing, give it Ross.

Where's the Schneiderman option?

i think although hes of the certain type to be a captain, I would consider it unlikely he would be chosen when there are plenty ahead of him in terms of Everton experience. I may be wrong however

I called it when he signed. Opposite character to Jags. He WILL get in the refs face if decisions are going against. I also think he will lead by example. He's got off to a quiet start here, but I think he will go on to become a key player for the club.

We need a team of leaders. It's a complaint often made about modern players is that they're too quiet and insular. All of the best teams have several leaders in them. That's what is needed imo, not just one.

It's getting better. We've several valid candidates though I'm not sure if we've one obvious one. I'd give it to Barry or Williams like a shot if they weren't coming to the end of their days with us (though to be fair we say that about Barry every season and he carries on going).

Seamus may be the best shot at the moment with Lukaku the wild card option (if it helps him stay with us I'm all for it), Schneids for the future, and even young Tom in a few years time.

In absence of any standout character though I'd be in favour of swapping it around (a bit like this season) until an obvious choice emerges.

In other words (and after all that waffle) it's the don't know/cheese on toast option for me.
