I did say I was happy to leave it, if you want beef mate, bring it, I will stick my pitchfork up your rusty bullet hole mate.

In t'other thread.
You were asked what to do and couldnt answer.
Without your pitchfork, you're nothing, NOTHING you hear me.
Who does actually own Everton by the way, what was the answer?
Bruce asked me that question too. My reply involved the suggestion of a share issue to fund the manager. His reply was - and I'm paraphrasing here - "err...well...just because...so there then."
Deffo schooled.

Many of the football clubs which floated in the mid-to-late 1990s now find themselves worth a fraction of their original flotation price.
Throughout the intervening years, they have been beset by problems ranging from over-valuation on flotation and the dotcom crash, to high player wages.
....
Now it appears only die-hard fans would be prepared to invest in football shares. And it seems most unlikely that there could be a repeat of the rush to float.
Putting your glasses on would be better
BBC NEWS | Business | How are football shares faring?
I've invested in football shares in the past. By and large they stink and I suspect you would be somewhat reluctant too if your pension was invested in them.

But a share issue wouldn't be seen by those buying them as a means to gain dividends. It's something the departed Wyness was aware of as an avenue to explore: "It’s something I’ve been working on for the last three months. It would be an offering of some type to the fans. Now, we’re not there yet in terms of the final resolution, what level it should be priced at, what the benefits should be, there’s still a lot of work to do on it. But there’s absolutely no problem from our side in terms of wanting to do something like that. We have to get it right because the last thing we want is for it to fail. There are things the fans would probably allow it to be used for such as the new Academy." That was in 2006. Of course it didn't bear fruit because turkeys dont for Christmas and current major shareholders dont vote to dilute the potential value of their shares in a future sale.
Granchester is an intresting one, he is heir to Moores fortune - worth billions - admittedly tied up in property and investments but finacial clout none the less.
As i keep saying someone could buy a majority stake in Everton without Bills shareholding.
Personally i think much of the reason we havent been taken over is the complex shareholding of the club compared to other clubs - even if someone was to buy Woods, Earls and Bills shares they still wouldnt 100% own everton - the shareholding is diverse.
woods is nothing more than bk's puppet , bill and earl mainly own everton (on paper) but both are puppets for phillip green.
green financially backed kenwright (or so im told) and himself admits he is bk's 'advisor' on club matters.
he is also rumoured to be tied to earl's bcr sports and by his own admission 'advises' him also , aswell as sits in his place at board meetings when earl is out the country (which is most of the time).
tax dodger green clearly pulls the strings and nothing gets done without his imput and opinion.he is our owner/chairman by proxy.
after reading an article posted on toffeeweb a week or so ago , personally i would love the premiership to investigate in depth greens dealings with our club and what power he has over our board so we actually know the truth once and for all.
