I thought it would be a long list. I don't think some of the names should be there mind you. Yes Paul Holmes was a shocker. Hottiger, Alcatraz, Kroldrup, Williamson, Linderoth, Thomas, all should be on there. I think David Burrows was a poor player. Players from the early 90's/Kendall/Walker absolutely dire. I'm starting to think we will also be adding Rondon.

Rondon, here we have a player who can’t run when he gets the ball he either falls over or just gives it away, doesn’t look like scoring or look a threat in any way shape or form, in fact he is that bad do the opponent even have to mark him?
Heard he wants to go into coaching it’s ok Blue Bill has your back

Obviously there is going to be divided opinion but who is the overall worst to have done something we can all only dream of and wear the royal blue jersey in the premier league era? I am certain to have missed some out but there are some absolute stinkers on this list.

Theres an argument for players like Williamson/Mangala (injury) and cheaper buys like Ward, Thomas etc

Niasse didnt look like a footballer apparently...

Rondon looks like an overweight bloke with a hangover pulled from the stand

Iwobi looks like a waiter carrying two boiling hot plates to a table.

I think its clearly one of those three.

…ly nowhere even close to the worst player we’ve had in the PL era.

(And that isn’t even remotely me saying he’s good)
Agreed
I remember watching some horror shows in the 90s just as the league was rebranded and through to the 3rd HK stint and Walter Smith spell. Paul Gerard was a poor keeper, Jon O’Kane, Carl Tiler, Stephen Hughes, Mick Madar, Brett Angell etc etc etc.

This post stuck in my head at the time.

Today I have had a row with Mrs. Tree, a row with a complete stranger and tested positive for Covid... Please complete my day by naming 30 prem-era Everton players worse than Iwobi. Frankly whether you convince me or not I will be happier either way!

Earl Barrett
Iain Jenkins
Marc Hottiger
Jon O’Connor
Adam Eaton
John Spencer
Gareth Farrelly (1 sublime moment apart)
John O’Kane
Graham Allen
Mitch Ward
Tony Thomas
John Oster
Phil Jevons
Michael Branch
Peter Degn
Jamie Milligan
Stephen Hughes
Mark Hughes
Peter Clarke
Alex Nyarko
Kevin McLeod
Nick Chadwick
David Ginola
Li Weifeng
Mark Hughes
Iain Turner
Per Kroldrup
Simon Davies
Anderson Da Silva

There’s 30 with like 15 seasons to spare

Reminder someone (no clue who) did something like this around a year ago (think it was worse signings in recent years) and put Doucoure on the list, sorry to whoever it was but I cannot forget it

Anyhow, Iwobi is the only right answer here...

Irony in what? picking Iwobi?
Imagine giving a middle finger to that post. Delicate flower aren't you?

Irony because you're taking the proverbial out of someone for saying Doucoure, then picking Iwobi, who isn't even CLOSE to being our worst player in the PL era (as demonstrated above). He's not even the worst player in the current squad.
