I would say Kanchelskis but the longevity wasnt there.

It’s because his Russian handlers who he owed gambling debts to were just looking for the next transfer signing on fee. That’s why he moved to Fiorentina. Allegedly.

..not sure about best, I think longevity of service comes into it so I discount Rooney and Kanchelskis.

My favourite in terms of attitude and ability to deliver when his team most needed is Tim Cahill. I guarantee every opponent was worried about him in the lead up to games, I guarantee he was the subject of discussion on the team bus home.

Kanchelskis all day for me. Was proper devo'd when he left.

Was only a young pup when he signed but remember how unbelievable it was signing a player of that calibre from United. Derby goals aside, the 5-2 Sheff Wed game.... Jeez....
