I'm on EE and I can sometimes get a call signal but I never get any sniff of data. It's probably for the best as I'd probably end up posting really depressing stuff on the match thread in here!
@matty1878 has it, a mate of a mate gave it him![]()
any chance of a TLDR on that pal haha
Was bad.
Now worse
Will get better.
Oh a hardwired backhaul, that is great news I have to say.The mobile network around Goodison is poor, certainly for data. The reciever can only hand off a limited number of connections as even the 5g network is essentially just 4g+. The receiver modules are still limited in input connections, but the output speed has been increased giving the feel of faster speeds.
True 5g networks uses reciever modules that can handle in excess of 5k concurrent connections using Maximum Input Maximum Output (MIMO) technology. That's more than 5x the current connections. BMD will have a network of recievers within the stadium linked up to a hardwired backhaul, hooking directly into the cities high speed fibre ring main. There is also Vodafones 5g mast within distance towards the Costco. This will be the first football stadium in the world to incorporate this technology to this scale.
It needs a password doesn't it?Why don’t you use the EFC WiFi?
EFC123 mateIt needs a password doesn't it?
If that doesn’t work, try EFC1234EFC123 mate
That isn’t reliable either to be honest .Why don’t you use the EFC WiFi?
Hi.
My mobile coverage at Goodison is dire, particularly data. Has been for years.
Which network do you think has the best coverage at Goodison (if any)?
