Fans option?? 10 games into a the job and fans booing Allardyce after 2 defeats, you'd swear they were his signings.

Groaning everytime Tom Davies does something wrong!! Same thing with Barkley.

It ain't helping folks

But obviously recruitment before and after Walsh I may add has been shocking since Moyes left is the main factor.

Since we moved to finch farm training complex our players,no matter how good at previous clubs seem to regress and become pie arsed and slow. Move back to Bellefield and dump this souped up sauna in Halewood.

I’m genuinely starting to give up on this club now.

I just expect nothing but disappointment every single season. It’s just so boring following us. I feel nothing for these players but utter disgust.

I second the Gana shout out. Without him, we just cannot compete with a club like Man U that is still just WAY more athletic than we are.

This summer was just a couple big missed opportunities. The lack of a CB/LB and a CF has really hurt us. Glad Koeman was exposed, though.

Assuming we get in a LB and CF, I'm not sure the team needs a complete overhaul, but some more athleticism and activity in the middle of the pitch would be nice. Image cutting James McCarthy, Morgan, Besic, and getting an athletic player in the center of the pitch like Gana - N'Zonzi, albeit older, would be great.

Imagine cutting loose Williams, Jags, and getting in someone more athletic at CB that could run with some of these clowns.

Wasn't the problem today at all
He was decent today, but honestly, Mata was the key to a lot of the success from minutes 45 thru 60. Part of that was due to him not being able to again cover in space. Mata should NEVER has a second to face up and play a ball. He's little and slow, but supremely skilled.

Gana being out is a huge issue. He's our biggest difference maker.

None of this sits with the management in my opinion, you cannot coach heart, or passion or courage. You can train this lot all you like, get them fitter than anybody else, coach tactics until they are better rehearsed than a politician denying an accusation, it won’t alter the fact that they are all lacking backbone.

We have a vastly over-valued squad of abject cowards, for all the money we have spent, you could drop,Straq into that squad and within two games he would be standing out as the only one who has any bottle!
Spot on. I would like our next signing to be more Cahill and less Schneiderlin please. This club of ours has rarely worked well with superstars. It needs a work ethic rarely shown by the spoilt rich. It so desperatly needs leaders and players who leave everything out on the pitch....I really want the team of 2011 back :( at least we kept the ball and scared the oppos when we attacked back then.

Squad has no spine, barring Pickford but he is just a young lad

Failure to replace Lukaku and hoping others would score 10 each

No pace at the back, given the injuries to Seamus and Mori to lesser extent, plus failure to have a left back replacement

Failure to replace Ross, given the poor recruitment in the summer

Drive, passion and motivation of the players we have (this showed again yesterday when ManUre stepped up a gear)

Don't believe a major clear-out works as lets face it a major recruitment drive didn't, too many players don't know each other. Hopefully we can move on players in this window (Mirallas, Besic, Ross unfortunately as he doesn't want to stay plus a couple of fringe players who are not on loan and have made no impact on the first team) but recruit well with Centre Forward - Central Defence and the left back would be a great start working towards the summer.

Moving others on will be hard as we have to wait to see if someone wants them, Naisse, Martina, Jimmy Mac, Sandro and the like

The summer was a mess in hindsight. Stinks of Koeman & Walsh picking a bunch of players they each like with no second thought on how'd they'd gel and threw money at them. We're still paying the price for that.

With heartfelt regret I now possess a worrying indifference to the club I've supported for so long. The incompetence has reached such a nadir that I have no faith left in the institution, and in the people who deign to disappoint the supporters, season upon season.

They must take us for fools ; for what other reason can they continually persist in this manner, spouting platitudes, promising manna from heaven, soon, and harking back to the past as a smokescreen for their own inadequacies in every facet of running the club.

I no longer feel the anticipation and excitement of a match. Just a weary acceptance that the players and the board have not an iota of an idea what it actually means to be an Evertonian : the ethos if you will. It's a sad time indeed.

Exactly. Ross is our creator and he orchestrated our attack. Sigurdsson is over paid and 100% not as good as him and has [Poor language removed] hold up play. Only a hand full of people could take his position maybe like Lanzini etc. Koeman screwed us and Allardyce will not bring back the school of science. I don’t see much changing until next season until we get a good manager

Same here, summer.

I was never so indifferent to a meaningful and competitive Everton game in my life before as I was prior to the Bournemouth game.

And I wasn't in much better heart before today's game either.

For years under Moyes we moaned about the lack of money we invested in the team. Now we have finally had money to spend, Koeman and Walsh have somehow managed to spend 200m (I know this isn’t a net figure) and formed a ‘team’ with little pace, no goalscoring threat and lacking in quality all over the park. Of course whatever club you are at, there is no guarantee signings will fit in at a club. However despite a vast outlay on players, I consider only Gana and Pickford to be classed as good signings. Koeman was instrumental in this squandering of resources, but so should Walsh be accountable. We ‘dreamed’ of the next kante, Vardy and myhraz, instead we have developed an unbalanced squad, with little quality in it.
