I don't blame Sam Allardyce, the football isn't good enough at the moment but he has had a great number of games in the time he's been in charge. He has made the defence better, but we have to improve midfield and attack, and now we will have a full week in between games I think we will see improvements, but they will have to be massive improvements!

The Bournemouth performance was the most disappointing by far and I think the players were responsible, poor passing and just setting them up for attack, maybe it was tiredness, but unacceptable nether the less and I just think some aren't good enough and we are severely lacking in areas.

The most disappointing thing about the season is we have wasted so much money on players that are not good enough, will we ever get this opportunity to spend 150+ million on our squad again?

Going into the season without a good enough striker, a completely unbalanced squad, buying players that play in the same position, overpaying on average players, Steve Walsh as the director of football has been the biggest failure by a country mile and I feel our poor season lies with him. Yes Koeman was a part of this transfer failure, but Walsh is supposed to above him in his role (guessing here) so should take the blame

Need to start getting a consistant first team together adding one or two players of quality each window. We are proof enough wholesale changes dont work.

To many players without the right character to be in a winning club.
Can excuse the young lads, but outside of Rooney, McCarthy, Coleman, Pickford maybe Williams we have got a team that doesn't look up for a fight or hurt enough by getting beat.

Weak at the back with left and right back, not knocking JonJoe, however, it’s his first season and needed blooding he looked tired against Bournemouth. Baines and Martina are just not up to it.

Need a striker, does not need to be an onion bag, but someone who can win hold and play the ball as we push up.

Must be the players as this is the 3rd manager the season who has failed to get a consistent tune out of them.

There came a point under the Dutchman and Unsworth were no matter what mix of players we used the performances and results did not change it seems we have now reached this point again with Allardyce.

From a manager point of view Big Sam's biggest criticism is he's too predictable to set up against, we've played pretty much the same tactical shape in every game but 1 and once we've had a formation change against Chelsea mid game. It must be very easy for a manager to put a game plan together against a side who are knowingly going to sit off deep, 10 behind the ball and a flat 5 across the midfield which never changes. Once you've got the game plan sorted it's just a game of waiting for a lucky break as the likelihood of us scoring a goal is getting less week by week as teams become aware of us and we become more defensively minded.

From a players point of view i just think in general a majority of the players aren't good enough, some are cowardly and half assed, some try but lack ability and some just don't have much to offer in general.

From a squad point of view we are massively unbalanced. In modern football FB's are so important these days, Pep is proving that at City for as good as they're going forward bringing in the likes of Walker, Danilo, Mendy even putting Delph back there as he suits Pep's drifting inwards style it's absolutely crucial for the balance of a side. We badly need to bring in a left back or 2, a right back imo is a must aswell, Kenny is young, Coleman might not be the same player for a while or ever and Holgate needs to focus on CB. That itself would help solving some of the defensive balance issues and also ball retention as Kenny is still playing within himself and Martina doesn't want to use his left foot other than to stand.

A new striker and a midfielder comfortable on the ball playing from deep is needed to balance for Gueye, McCarthy, Davies more aggressive but less technical style sort of like how Barry did for a good few seasons.

It has to be Moshiri ultimately.

He is here to deliver a stadium which will be at the forefront of the most significant investment in Liverpool in generations. He gets rich, we get a shiny stadium and everyone is a winner.

While he progressed this, he appointed what would be on paper, trusted football men in Walsh and Koeman. They were to run the show as he focussed on delivering what will be the Holy Grail for Everton Football Club- the self sustaining model before football goes tits up but also delivering the throne of the city.

His employees have failed to deliver. Simple as that.

I understand that Allardyce was a short term appointment to ensure our Premier League status, our new stadium, but Moshiri must surely be undertaking a root and branch reform of his own staff at every level.
