Tonight is the catalyst for change.

The dross players on the list. Not the Manager. BK isn't going anywhere even though he needs to.

As embarrassing as it is tonight, and it hurts, sometimes Managers and others associated with a football club, need to be humiliated to realise what is blatantly obvious to most in the football community outside that said club.

I prefer a humiliating exit than a 1-0 loss on away goals. IF IT BECOMES THE CATALYST FOR CHANGE.

Hopefully we as a club realise that it is time to move on the rabble.

Painfully most of the dross seem to have been all picked tonight, so hopefully this humiliation marks the beginning of their last 9 weeks in an Everton shirt.

No need to name players. Surely obvious to all.

On to the League it is then...

I really don't know where to start after that. There was just so much wrong. The shape of the team was wrong ( again ) from the outset and the fact that he didn't change things at half time was mind boggling. The players looked leggy, apart from Lukaku. The defending was comical and nearly all of them had bad games tonight, which obviously the manager can't anticipate. What he can do though is react to a situation that obviously needs reacting to - being 3 - 1 down and still in the game. But he sat on his hands and they scored again at which point the match is effectively lost. He's proved to me tonight that he isn't capable of managing at this level. What makes it worse for me, is that even though we got spanked tonight if was down to our failings rather than the opposition and that's what makes it so hard to bear.

Have said all along that is my biggest concern with Roberto. The transfer market.

But we need to give him a chance to rebuild the aging dross.
Don't agree with you mate giving him a chance to rebuild.
I think he has got us in a right mess

No established, world class Manager would touch Everton.
He wasn't my choice as Manager, in fact I was totally against the appointment.
And it is comical that I am here now defending him lol.
I want to see the type of player he targets in the Summer. That will decide it for me.

It doesn't matter what selection he chooses if they are not being coached to defend from the front and that includes Lukaku then we will always be a team that concedes goals. The coaching, preparation and style of play has a huge influence on the results whether win or not.

Tonight's hammering has been on the cards for a while, we conceded 6 against Chelsea early in the season, the warning signs were there then.

Unless there is a complete change of approach then we will be on the other end of more hidings before the end of the season.

Need to give him more time to grow.
Southampton got koeman we could get the likes of de boer.
A manager coming in this summer will have time to rebuild and money because we will lose a couple this summer with no european football next year.

Sat here numb, nothing to do with piles btw. Was looking forward to a decent weekend, shocking, disgraceful and completely inept management.
Makes it even worse knowing that we can't afford to sack him !!

A manager manages the team. I'm not seeing that from him, so would new players make a difference ?

I know what you are saying but tonight i saw Lukaku closing down and yelling at everyone else to get forward and close down when Kiev had the ball near their goal.
