Kids were looked upon differently when I was a kid in the 1940's. Seen but not heard. I was once at Goodison, stood right by the wall at the front of the terrace. Peter Corr the Everton winger got a knock and the trainer took him off the pitch right in front of us. After he had gone back on, I noticed that the piece of bandage that he used as a tie-up on one of his socks, was lying on the pitch side. A policeman was walking past and I asked him could he hand me the piece of bandage. His answer was 'no, that's theft'.

Do they still come out at the Park End to sign autographs?

Havent been since the pandemic so not sure what they done with the park end car park but would imagine so

Go and wait outside the Parkend, players usually appear 20-30 mins after the game and stop for autographs/pictures. The traffic is usually still bad at that time, so they 9/10 times they will roll down their window and sign things etc

Peter was uncle to them - apparently Sharon is definitely a Blue - unsure about the rest. Probably support their home town club Dundalk.
