Where did the TW forum go??

Daily news can be got from anywhere... so just doing that here would be unoriginal.

What kind of articles would you do?

Well when I mentioned to the guy in question that I was considering my own site, he got a little worried. I told him that its just the forum that had caused me to leave, I still love the main site - and also that the site I had in mind was completely different to anything. It won't be forum led and it won't be a source of daily news.

If you need any plugs or help mate, give me a shout.

@Monty, well I think people are attracted to the forum because of the quality of the main site.

@Rob, ranging from topical debates to historical moments that people may want to share. For instance, which part of the ground did you rip up after the Coventry game? Feel good stuff, fun, but not like Kipper. One thing I am keen on though is the Youth team and their progress. The promotion of that area of the club over the injection of foreign crap.

I'm 100% with you there Ghost, that is exactly what I was wanting to do on here, especially the youth team coverage.

Don't know if you ever saw my youth team thread on the TW forum?

P.S. Danny - any chance of importing just that over here?

Well I don't want a forum. I was hoping to generate articles from the floor here. Chance to get yourself known in the big wide world as a topical journalist of the highest calibre.

Needless to say I would want it to be more of the standard of The Times magazine, not what you would expect in those crappy women magazines.

Well, although it may have been on a forum, the idea was the same, reporting more widely the current state of the youth team, who is doing well, who might come through etc.

If kipper is The Star, I'd love us to be The Times :D

We have an articles system on here, albeit it needs improving, but every article goes in NewsNow and gets around 500 views, and popular ones can get 5000+.

So if you ever do decide to do articles to get your reputation up, your always welcome to post them on here :)

youth team.. i suppose you heard james vaughan scored twice for england under 19 last night.

any other hot shots in there?

hey teppic, It would be great if you could write a few pieces, really interesting!

can members add articles to the news section danny?

If they were granted permission to do so, yes.

We have to be careful though, newsnow take plagiarism VERY seriously and they will ban the site if any updates are not professional enough.
