What's your very earliest Everton related memory?

Not my main memory but the 86 final always sticks out as an 8 year old for 4 things.

My best mates brother crying for ages as his dad had got up in the middle of the night and scarpered off to the final without him

A street party where all the houses had either blue and white decorations or red and white decorations and food laid out

Vomiting due to eating a square piece of butter which I thought was a piece of cheese

Bruce Grobbelars save from Sharp header

I'd have to have a good think about earlier memories, the above day has always stood out to me.
Horrible reminder this. I was bang in the middle at the kopite end. I was in Wembley underground before Handballsen lifted the cup.

Early 90s i was very young like 5. Remember my dad watching Everton and being that age I had no interest at all. I seem to just remember a particular moment where everton hit the bar in a match, or my dad saying the phrase 'go on son.'

Our kid, may he R.I.P taking me to most of the home games in the 62-63 championship season, I was 10 years old and must have been a terrible tie for our kid who was 18 at the time.but, fair play to him, he took me every week. Roy Vernon seemed to score every game, he and Alex Young became my heros. That was until 1966, when a certain ginger haired ball of fire arrived. He was and is the finest player I ever saw play for Everton.

Going out everyday in an Everton tracksuit and shirt. At that young innocent age where your mum and the washing machine is your enemy.
( 1 day less without the outfit on, not happening )

I could of gone with games, but this was an early and great memory. Although probably a pretty smelly one..

I remember asking my dad, red and my grandad, blue to take me to a game. I didn't care where.
It was in the early 1950's and I was about six.
My dad said I was too little and my grandad said he'd take me
He usually got a taxi, had a flask of tea with a splash of whisky - which he always gave me a sip of, and sat up top in either the Bullens or Park end.
Don't remember results but players were John Willie Parker, his favourite, Dave Hickson, Wally Fielding, Jimmy O'Neil and Cyril Lello amongst others.
I didn't know the difference then, but we were in the 2nd Division. OMG!

Bobby Collins sticking his finger in front of the face of some 6ft2in WBA grock, more or less asking him the Fat Harold question - Do you want to see me?
Grock decided (wisely) that on refection - no he didn't

My dad was a red and I just loved playing football, aged 9 in 1958 I asked him to take me. Something happened and we couldn't go ( thank the lord ), so he said I will take you next week to watch Everton. I entered a nearly packed Goodison and that was it. The following season I never missed a game and went with a mate from school, been a regular since then hardly missing a game. And love it just as much now at nearly 77 as I've always done. Nothing better than a few pints with your son and mates then 3 points.

As a kid I actually had a red Hitachi kit. Only God knows why. Must have been some reason can't think why. Started supporting Everton when Gordon Lee was manager. Earliest tv was the Milk Cup final and reply. First game afterwards v Southampton at Goodison Andy Gray winner. We dressed our dog up for the (FA) cup final! Blue scarf everything.
I had a wolves kit !
Gold with a wolf badge Chuffed I was
Me family eventually intervened though.
