The secret of a happy marriage is not living together. Preferably on different continents.

The kid on the scrambler with no helmet on doing a wheelie at speed whilst overtaking cars the whole length of Muirhead Av. All balls and no brains. I know it shouldn't but it made me smile. what do they hope to achieve ? That's not clever mate.

Two people I know have died in the last week of motorbike accidents. Both never had helmets on. Kids know, if they have no helmets on, the police can't chase them. It's a scary mindset they have.

is that true??

A couple of the kids I teach all ride motorbikes and that's what they all say. Dunno if it's actually true but they have it in there mindset.

Actually one of the kids I used to teach, died in Bermuda yesterday in a motorbike accident and he didn't have his helmet on.

My favourite stupid thing is...

A friend of my dad's is a health and safety officer and he takes it very seriously.

There is a bike track and his nephews came up and wanted a go. He wanted to test out the track first. He did; fell off the bike and broke his arm.
Fantastic stuff. I assume he neglected to do a proper risk assessment before starting his test....

Helmets or not it's highly unlikely the police will pursue as mummy's precious little snowflakes might get hurt. Or worse.

Thing is mate, we say 'it'll teach them if they fall off' but it doesn't.

My eldest used to ride his mountain bike without one - because he doesn't look 'cool'. I told him he won't look cool wearing a nappy and a bib when he has a massive brain trauma.

I believe it's a judgement call on the boss of the radio control room.

Ie - if it's the early hours they don't pose a risk to the general public due to the roads being empty.

If it's day time, it's generally a no no.

What's mad, is that they all know of someone who has died from an accident on a motorbike.

Very true, the last statment about the cool part. Reputation and imagine is scary what it can do a kids thinking.
