I got to thinking after the Newcastle result, some Geordies are probably quite miffed that they beat us, on the basis that a big win for us could possibly have got Bruce sacked. This would inevitably have led to jubilation on Tyneside.
It brought to mind the day Boro whacked us 3-0 in the cup that quickly led to Walter Smith being sacked; for me that was a great day brought on by a terrible performance and result.
So Blues, what's your best worst result for The Mighty Blues?

0-3 Tranmere...another Walter classic.

!0-4 at Spurs but we did get 4, but the Tranmere cup tie was humiliating, as was the 5-0 thrashing at Analfield and the awful day derby at Goodison 0-4 was that twice? and so so and so on.

Losing 7-0 to Arsenal in 2005 was pretty embarrassing. We had just qualified for CL and it showed us up somewhat!

How about the 3-0 defeat away to Wolves during Christmas 1983.
They hadn't won at home all season and cries of 'Andy Andy what's the score' filled the stadium.
Was that the final kick up the arse we needed as we hardly lost a game after that for the rest of the season and went on to win the cup.
And then the glory years really started!

How come you never post on here when Everton win? Why do you only magically appear when we lose? Why do you only like posts, that are negative about the club and it's players?
