WHAT YOU EXPECT IN 2012/13

8-10th.

Same old utter garbage trotted out most of the time thanks to ginger plums and his over-cautiousness.

I expect to see Jelavic spend an entire season on his own. Anichebe on the wing.

Oh my.....

Hard to predict not knowing who will be here and who won't.

I think we will be a stronger team this than last but so will most others which is the problem were always up against. Potentially with Naismith already in, if we could add pienaar Donovan and 1 or 2 squad players (backup striker) I think we'd be amongst the arsenal's, spurs, Liverpool's and Newcastle's that with a bit of good luck and form could end up 4th.

I'm thinking it might our year to finish a smidgen higher. I hope. Pending remaining activity in the transfer season....5th/6th. I'm going to hold onto the glass half full until someone tips it over.

Top half finish, no trophies won.
I have a feeling this could prove to be DM last season.

If moyes's is given the funds to invest getting a few players in, not being forced to sell top stars and with the youngsters coming through I dont see anyway this would be his last season.

I only think he'd go for man utd, city, arsenal, man utd anyway... And I don't see them offering him a job any time soon!

If we sign Pienaar (Doesn't hold breath) and a couple of squad players and avoid injuries to key players, I think we could finish in the top 5. I have no doubts we have a better side than Newcastle and will finish above them this season, although I am sure Chelsea will be stronger and Spurs could be a mixed bag under AVB. I am going 5th + Quarter finals of both cups.

IMO the size of our squad will play a massive part. We're only strong in numbers at CB and CM. We will need a massive run of luck with injuries to achieve something special like 4th or a cup win.

If Jelly got done for and was out for a few months I think we'd be back to struggling for goals like we did last year. If Pienaar got injured we'd be relying on Baines for creativity again and Kneesmith may or may not solve the right wing problem.

With a good run of luck we might get amongst it around 4th/5th, with a bad run it could be as low as 10th.

If we play like the back end of last season I'll be quite happy everything else will look after itself.

Playing EFFECTIVE football is what it's about, defensive strength and carrying a threat is a trick that's passed Moyes by - the Swansea, Utd, Sunderland and Newcastle games were top class, no two ways about it, providing much better results than certain unmentionable games NOT played that way.

The feeling is similar to the "best squad ever" season and that turned into poo, my feeling is a repeat even with a respectable league position will have even moderate fans complaining - not vehemently - more like "they don't put enough vinegar on the chips" sorta murmurings.

No cups and 8th to 10th with both derbies nil - nil.

Plenty of talk of cheese on toast/lids reaching for bleach.bill out threads, moyes out threads, where's the money bill threads
All in all I don't really expect too much....

I expect us to avoid our usual tragic start to a season. I think that depends on the form of Gibson and whoever plays alongside him in the deeper midfield role (either Fellaini or Rodwell). If they can protect the back 4 as well as they did in the 2nd half of last season and let the attacking players do what they do best, we definitely have the potential to finish in the top 5/6 (assuming Pienaar signs).

As it stands we have a starting 11 with the potential to finish that high, but we don't have the squad. We need to sign some squad fillers to boost numbers so we don't have to rely on Anichebe/Barkley or other youngsters when injury problems inevitably come our way.

Oh my.....

Pretty much this. I hope I'm wrong but after watching moyes teams for ten years, why would it change now. I expect hoof ball until there is no pressure. Finish 8-10th.

I expect us to be 14th come the start of the new Year and to be knocked out of both cup competitions early on.

No change there then!
