Any more thoughts about Cahill, McBain?

I know, Rodwell would have got a couple out there today wouldn't he. When you get average performances from a great player, you should stick the knife right in there and sell them.

Why do you persist in calling him a great player? He's a good player who has done us proud in recent seasons, who is now falling. Why can't you accept this?

Falling where? Take your glasses off buddy, the whole team is [Poor language removed] at the moment.

He's been quite superb for us for a number of years now, peeps should remember this.

If anyone is allowed to be [Poor language removed] for a while, it's him. Just not now please Tim lid.

Indeed.

As I've said numerous times (that McBain fails to register), I've said he's done us proud for the past few years. But IMO he is starting to decline, and should be given more appearances from the bench.

Thank you and goodnight.

You dont chuck something out because its a bit dirty.

You give it a clean, tell it you love it and get it back out there.

I think it's a form thing mate, which I think McBain is trying to get at to be honest, its not that he's turning [Poor language removed] now it's just that he's a bit off form.

Which is why I'm stressing it's just in my own opinion. I truly hope it isn't, but I think he's declining at the moment. I think a couple of games out will test his mettle, and I'd be delighted for him to come back refreshed and as passionate as ever.

Edit: but I need to see more of a contribution from him.

As we all would mate, time will tell but I think there's a few more chapters left yet.

As for in decline, see: Scholes, P & Carragher, J.

Thanks coach, but try not to get all Logans Run on us mate.

He's already started around 23-24 games this season, he's had enough time to get his form right and sadly, for whatever reason, it hasn't happened.

We shouldn't be playing players on past reputations, not in our situation. We all know what type of player he's been for Everton football club but this is here and now. He's not offering enough and someone else deserves a go.

It may not work, Tim might have to come straight back in, but there's nothing wrong with taking a player out of the firing line and trying something different.

Apparently taking a player out of the firing line means you think he should retire, according to McBellend over there.
