The happy truth is that no one will ever want to leave us again because we are boss, Roberto is boss, we play boss football and we always win the possession and the passing.

I don't know why any one of our players would possibly want to leave in the next couple of years, assuming we don't change how great we are.

I personally don't want players at Everton that don't want to be here.

I am, however, 100% confident though that both Barkley and Coleman are delighted to be at Everton.

The fact that Baines is signing a new contract for me is the biggest vindication of what Martinez is doing. Baines has seen enough from him to give up a spot at the World Cup, European football and trophies (all close to guaranteed at Man Utd) in the belief that he can now get all of those things as an Evertonian.
