As an American i would have thought you would know someone who's been probed?

Nope, but I do know people who have either seen a ghost or at least knows that one (her dad or grandfather) has sort of haunted her house.

And those alien abduction nutters are more towards the midwest/southwest (I think).

I " may" have possibly seen a ghost whilst working in a large hotel in Blackpool. There was a power cut , and the emergency lighting came on. No lifts, of course, so some of us staff helped the residents to go upstairs with the help of torches. A group of us saw what looked like a woman in a dressing gown turn around a corner. One of the group went to see if she was lost. Only to find nobody there, and a dead-end. I'm still not sure to this day. As for aliens, there are so many weird people around , they are probably among us anyway

All I know is that Captain Kirk and William Ryker got it on with loads of aliens, some of them were hot, even if they were green. Whereas as other less desirable aliens, might in fact come across as scary looking.
However, if these aliens looked at our bacteria through microscopes, they would be scared and go home.
All ghosts do is ruin your furniture and occasionally haunt you to death. Also, you can't do a ghost but a ghost can do you.
So with the science out of the way.....be afraid, be very afraid.

Depends, aliens being physical beings could be destroyed, ghosts would require some sort of spiritual afront, and I dont think I could trust a young boy raping priest to do anything.
