What would/could make you stop supporting Everton, if anything?

Actually I suppose that is one such circumstance.

Say you had a son made it on to the RS team and became a fixture in it for the next ten years.

I suppose you are going to start going their game and wishing them to do well and would eventually morph into a Kopite.

Or am I talking bubbles?

it would be quite ironic if this happened to a certain mr carragher wouldn't it. But if I was me and my son played for the RS, nah I'd still want them to get beat every game

The question is an absurd one. Accepting the 'born not made' tagline would mean that you would have to be a 'born again kopite or manc' - as ridiculous as the analagous christian sects!
If EFC went out of business I would support the plan to get them back
if football was banned from the world I would support the plan to bring it back
If I were trapped on Mars like Matt Damon I'd want NASA to move the camera around the Hexi-decimals to tell me the scores
if the club did something shameful and disgusting like banning muslims I would work to change that
No external force can make you un-Everton yourself

Go to the Official Website pull up the 20 minute highlights from last week. Listen to the silence at the start, watch the standing ovation on 4minutes for the anniversary of a former hero's death. Tell me your eyes didnt swell up and then tell me you could ever not be an Evertonian.

I don't think I'll ever stop supporting everton, you don't just stop, apart from if you club is basically deleted and started again like the previously mentioned MK Dons.

However, I think moving to a sub standard stadium on the outskirts of the city such as Stonebridge and Kirkby would definitely stop me attending the match and buying a season ticket.

I got this idea after reading in the Rooney thread where @Slippin Jimmy said he would stop supporting Everton if Rooney came back.
Madness.

So Blues are there any reasons you can think of that would stop you supporting the Toffees?
Nope.

Obscure views already has.
Boss fan you lad.

I couldn't in all honesty, when I was a kid alls that I wanted was to be able to hang around with my big sister and her crew lads and all but they always said no every single one of them was a kopite, after me begging time and time again "can I come with you's" they said only if you start supporting Liverpool, haha well I can tell you now I never once even pretended to them that i supported liverpool, I don't think it's actually possible for anyone to stop supporting the club you have supported all your life
Good save.

It was just hypothetical and a bit of fun Mr Salty.

Nothing.

Luckily being an Alabama football (American football) supporter my whole life I had to endure many dark years before the arrival of Nick Saban. So mentally I was prepped for Everton.

Though that has been sorely tested.
