What type of home games do you prefer?

I personally would prefer to take the risk and go to the game vs a team we don't expect to beat, if we win Goodison is amazing. Beating Sheff Utd will never get the place bouncing unless we got 2 down and win 3-2. You have to go to the losses (vs big teams) to make sure youre there for the wins....the end of last season was jackpot after jackpot

You are right they are both amazing just interested to see, given the 2 choices, which people would choose.

Would absolutely pick the big game.

- Better atmosphere before
- Better atmosphere during
- Potentially epic atmosphere if they win
- Less fume if they don’t get a result
- There would still be fume with an unconvincing 1-0 over a bad side. No one would do that if it was an unconvincing 1-0 over, say, Spurs.

Say for example you didn't have a season ticket and as you know all our home games sell out. You get offered the choice of two tickets, one for say Sheffield United and the other for Man City, which would you choose?

Sheff Utd - huge favourites, probability of a few goals and not much surprise at the win.
Man City - bigger game, great feeling if we win but higher likelihood that you are going to see us lose/draw at most.

Personally I really look forward to the games against the lesser teams. I just love the feeling you get when we have won no matter who we play.
The ones i can boo the loudest at tbh, i love all the home games. Nothing better than waiting all week to be disappointed and spending £100 for the privilege.

Not really too fussy about who the opponent is. Normally try to arrange trips around August bank holiday weekends and in January. Result always more important than opponent. Having said that, my two best Goodison experiences were againt the two Manchester clubs. 1995 against United (Ferguson header) and the 4-0 against City in 2017.

Hopefully coming over for the Brighton home game in January.

If I had to choose any to go to a night game would always be first choice. Just something extra special about the old girl under the lights, packed to the rafters, spitting and snarling like a rabid dog. Makes me all warm inside just thinking about it ♡♡♡
